In Prysmian's oil and gas business, we offer the latest complex and integrated power, monitoring and instrument control systems in both upstream (offshore rigs, value-adding niche drilling, ESP cables) and downstream (chemical, petrochemical, electrical and heavy industrial plants). Our state-of-the-art production facilities and end-to-end laboratories provide reliable steel and thermoplastic umbilical cord cables, backbone cables and deep-sea (SURF) cables, flexible pipelines, as well as specialized DHT (Downhole Technology) cables are offered for offshore oil and gas extraction. Prysmian Group's innovations in the oil and gas industry and our stable and reliable market presence in North America, Brazil, Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia provide a secure link between ocean and land, surface and seabed.
